We take most of our projects through to completion of the building, working either for the client under a traditional form of contract or novated to the contractor under a design-and-build form of contract. We attend site at regular intervals to review the progress of the works, and will chair site meetings, and issue minutes and contractual certificates if required.
We have significant first-hand experience of construction work, from small builds up to multi-million pound developments. We always pursue a co-operative approach and strive to form a positive and productive working relationship with the contractor, which is key to ensuring the success of a project.
We produce further details required by the contractor, provide setting-out information, review sub-contractor drawings, help discharge relevant planning conditions, and at the end of the project we produce a set of record drawings. We are able to act as Contract Administrator and issue Architects Instructions and certification as the contract requires. At the end of the project we issue a certificate of practical completion and complete a six or twelve months final defects check.
