invited
competition for the conversion of two houses into
artists' studios and living space
In collaboration with Eleanor Rennie
Architects, under our joint venture Rennie & Stagg,
we submitted proposals to the Delfina Foundation as part
of an invited competition for the conversion and
extension of two houses in the Birdcage Walk Conservation
Area in Westminster.
Aaron Cezar, Director of
the Delfina Foundation commented on the proposals;
"Rennie
and Stagg approached the brief for our expansion with
care and paid attentive detail in their response, which
was both sensitive and flexible. These attributes were
equally reflected and embedded in their work-style, which
was professional and engaging. They fully demonstrated in
our conversations, in their materials and in their
presentation an ability to go beyond what's necessary to
get the job done. For these reasons, I commend them."
