Refurbishment and extension of a four-storey Victorian house.

Value: 150,000

Brief: Stagg Architects were asked to design a proposal for the extension at ground level of this four-storey Victorian town house. The house also required extensive works internally to address damp problems and required new electrical services and new plumbing and heating throughout. With a relatively limited budget and severe pressure on timing the challenge was to fast-track the project and focus on the most important areas such as underpinning the existing rear extension.

After completion of the project the client said;

"Working with Stagg Architects could not have been a better experience. Our project was carried out on time and on budget and Ben was always at hand with a friendly and very capable manner to deal with any questions or issues. If I ever develop another property, Ben is the first person I would call. He gave us complete confidence in what we had set out to achieve."
